Licence, not transfer of ownership
Purchasing GoPaperShift grants a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the software within the purchased entitlements. The software and its intellectual property are not sold or transferred to the customer.
Perpetual use and authorised computers
Solo, Duo and Quadro permit use on one, two and four authorised computers respectively. Perpetual licences permit continued use of the purchased major version, subject to the applicable agreement, without recurring software fees. Future major releases may require a separate purchase and compatibility with every future operating system is not guaranteed.
Activation and transfers
Activation, recovery and transfers to replacement computers are subject to reasonable verification and the purchased seat allowance. Deliberate activation circumvention, unauthorised redistribution and use beyond purchased entitlements are prohibited except where applicable law or third-party licences provide otherwise.
Permitted uses and customer responsibilities
GoPaperShift may be used for lawful personal, educational, professional and commercial document workflows. Customers retain ownership of their documents and responsibility for lawful use of their content, maintaining independent backups, and checking OCR or image-processing results before relying on them.
Third-party rights and governing law
Applicable third-party component licences and intellectual-property notices remain effective. Pakistan law governs except where mandatory customer protections apply. Statutory consumer rights are preserved.
