Digital product, not physical shipment
GoPaperShift 1.0 is desktop software for scanning, digitising, correcting, organising, indexing and finding documents. It is delivered digitally. No physical shipment is required. A purchase provides the applicable software licence and activation entitlement, not ownership of the software itself.
Delivery and activation
Following a verified purchase, customers receive the applicable digital delivery and activation instructions. Activation confirms the purchased entitlement and permitted number of authorised computers. Digital delivery and activation for the purchased entitlement are included in the licence price.
Successful activation is intended to permit continued supported local use of the purchased major version without a continuous internet connection or mandatory annual software subscription. Initial activation and certain administrative actions may require internet access.
Documents and storage
Customers select and manage their document-library storage location. Their documents, scans and backups remain under their control and ownership. The application is designed to preserve customer libraries during installation and uninstallation; final installation and preservation behaviour remains subject to release qualification.
Customers should keep independent backups of important originals and verify OCR and automated processing results before relying on them.
Support and future releases
Essential Support is optional and separate from the perpetual software licence. Major future releases are not automatically included. No automatic in-place upgrade or patch service is promised for GoPaperShift 1.0. Reasonable technical assistance for qualifying delivery, activation or defect issues remains available where legally required.
